He was predeceased by: his parents, Mary Evan Sawyer and Richard Fieldings Sawyer; and his pets, Madison and Rainbow. He is survived by: his wife Shelley Sawyer; his stepson Bryan Krahn; his sisters, Susan Sawyer of Boscawen and Gail Howe of Dedham, Massachusetts; his daughters, Mary Sawyer Bolton (Jason Bolton) of Crouse and Sarah Sawyer Brown (Alan Brown) of Statesville; and his grandchildren, Taven, Austin, Autumn, Joseph and Noah.
