It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Philip Aretas Newton Jr. of Tallahassee, Florida, who passed away on December 2, 2024, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

He was predeceased by: his wife Bonnelle Newton. He is survived by: his children, Kae Craig (Cam) of Tallahassee, Mark Newton (Lori) of Macon, GA and Kristen Briggs (Kevin) of Burlington, WA; his sisters, Mary Lynne Spivey of Franklin, NC and Sandy Sale of Panama City, FL; and his pet Dusty. He is also survived by six grandchildren.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, January 18th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Fellowship Baptist Church (3705 N Monroe St, Tallahassee, FL 32303).
