It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Mignon Upchurch Beranek (Tallahassee, Florida), born in Walnut Creek, California, who passed away on November 29, 2019, at the age of 71, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Frank D. Upchurch, Jr. and Mignon T. "Tis" Upchurch; her husband John R. Beranek; her daughter Mignon L. "Sarah" Brockenbrough (William) of Roseland, Virginia.; and her siblings, Frank D. Upchurch III of St. Augustine, Florida, Robin Upchurch Allen (Stephen) of Savannah, Georgia and Kramer T. Upchurch (Sandra) of St. Augustine. She was also cherished by six nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, donations in Dee's memory may be made to Episcopal Relief and Development, League of Women Voters, or the International Rescue Committee.
