She is survived by: her sister Josephine Milks Spade of Warren, Indiana.; her children, Joan Alford of Chelsea, Michigan, James A. Alford, Jr. (Janet) of Chelsea, Michigan, Georgia Alford Morris (Al) of Pickens, SC, Catherine Alford Rotch (Steve) of Pickens, SC and Patricia Alford Gramling of Tallahassee; and her grandchildren, Amy Morris, Alford, III (Andrea), Todd Morris (Molly), John David Alford (Jennifer), Mary Gramling (Stephanie), Annette Rotch (Thomas), James Gramling, Jennifer Rotch (Alan Belford) and Christopher Rotch (Amanda).
