In her absence, her spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Earl Warner, and Sallie Lee Johnson Warner, Sr.. She is survived by: her husband Willie A. Nixon, Sr.; her sons, Anthony Brown (Brenda) of Atlanta, GA, William Nixon (Carolyn) of Tallahassee, FL, Derrick D. Nixon, Sr. of Tallahassee, FL, Willie A. Nixon, Jr. (Ingrid) of Tallahassee, FL and Wilford Kelly; and her siblings, Eva Yant (Donald) and George Warner (Deborah). She is also survived by seven grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren, and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
Visitation was held on Friday, December 13th 2024 from 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM. A funeral service was held on Saturday, December 14th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the Tabernacle Missionary Baptist Church (615 Tuskegee St, Tallahassee, FL 32305). A burial will be held on Monday, December 16th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the Tallahassee National Cemetery (5015 Apalachee Pkwy, Tallahassee, FL 32311).
