She was predeceased by: her close friend Hodges Abner. She is survived by: her daughter Hodgetta A. Huckaby; her granddaughters, Jamye Brown and Jamelle Pruden; her brothers, Waymon Armstead, Sr. and Larry Bowen; and her great grandchildren, Myles Brown, Kynne Pruden and Keon Pruden.
Due to the on-going COVID-19 guidelines, face-masks and social distancing are required.
In lieu of flowers, contributions in Mrs. Abner's honor, may be made to the Bethel A.M.E. Church School and/or Beta Delta Sigma Chapter of Sigma Gamma Rho Sorority, Inc. Scholarship Fund.
