He was predeceased by: his parents, Marguerite Goodman Shapiro and Sidney George Shapiro. He is survived by: his wife Bobbi Shapiro; his brother David Shapiro; his sons, James (Jay), Matt Shapiro and Mike Shapiro (Sarah); his stepdaughters, Brittney Mayfield (Henry) and Shannon Davis (Matt); his grandchildren, Noah, Jonah Shapiro and Kaiya Bennett (Reid); his stepgrandchildren, Regan, Marshall Mayfield, Kate Frailicks (Jamie), Tim Harris and Ashley Harris; and his great grandchildren, Indy and Ellie Frailicks.
A memorial service will be held on Sunday, January 26th 2025 at 2:30 PM at the Bevis Funeral Home (200 John Knox Rd, Tallahassee, FL 32303). A reception will be held on Sunday, January 26th 2025 at 3:30 PM at the same location.
