It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Katherine Marie Barrett (Tallahassee, Florida), who passed away on November 19, 2024, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband E. W. Barrett; her daughter Charlotte Lepper; her parent Nellie Thompson; and her siblings, Rosemary Hawkins, Edward Thompson, Bill Thompson, Harry Thompson and Russell Thompson.
She is survived by: her children, Willie Barrett of Beech Grove, Steve Barrett of Ossian, Indiana, Dottie Sisley (Rick) of Tallahassee and Zina Dawson (Jon) of Ossian, Indiana; her grandchildren, Kelli Marckel, Lynette Sisley, Steven Sisley, Rebecca Sisley, Scott Lepper, Corbin Barrett, Ethaniel Barrett and Jonathon Barrett; and her great grandchildren, Ariana Howell, Eliana Howell, Liliana Howell and Lily Marckel.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimer's Association or American Cancer Society.
