He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry Riesen and Susie Newton Riesen; and his wife Shirley Riesen. He is survived by: his children, Karen Riesen, Julianne Hewett and Christopher Riesen (Libby); his grandchildren, David Bayne (McKenzie) and Samantha Hewett; his great grandchild Adelaide Bayne; and his sisters, Ruth Stults and Lenore Miller. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews.
