He was predeceased by: his former wife Nancy; his sister Kathy Hannon; and his sister-in-law Anne Ausley Lee. He is survived by: his wife Shirle Connell Hannon; his sons, Russ Hannon (Beverly Hannon) and Saxon Hannon; his grandchildren, Joe Hannon (Grace Stec), Brandon Hannon (Francesca Davies) and Parker Hannon; his stepgranddaughters, Olivia Hightower and Whitney Hightower; his siblings, Charlene Hannon and Mike Hannon (Julie); his siblings-in-law, Duby and Sallie Ausley; and also Sherry Hannon. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
A celebration of life will be held on Thursday, February 27th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Bevis Funeral Home (200 John Knox Rd, Tallahassee, FL 32303).
His contributions to the lumber industry were recognized when he served as president of the Florida Lumber Association.
