He is survived by: his wife Jean Amwake; his children, Joe Amwake (Lynn), Jim Amwake (Laura) and Kathi Amwake (Ed); his grandchildren, Christy Cordeiro (Kevin), David Amwake (Maribel), Kathy Bass (Chris), Katrina Schoewe, Eddy Schoewe, Ben Amwake (Jessica) and Rose Amwake; and his great grandchildren, Anabel Amwake, Isabel Amwake, Brayden Bass, Carter Bass, Benjamin Amwake, Brantley Amwake, Cameron Amwake and Michael.

He and Jean have donated to numerous charitable causes.
