He is survived by: his wife Ann DeVeer; his daughter Carrie; his son-in-law Daniel Simone; his son Casey; his daughter-in-law Cindy Swain; and his grandchildren, Amelia, Charlotte Simone, Timothy, John, Kelly and Alex Swain.

Visitation was held on Saturday, November 9th 2024 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Bevis Funeral Home (200 John Knox Rd, Tallahassee, FL 32303). A funeral service was held on Sunday, November 10th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Sunday, November 10th 2024 at the Pisgah Methodist Church (7000 Pisgah Church Rd, Tallahassee, FL 32309).

Flowers will be accepted, or memorial gifts may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
