He is survived by: his wife Becky Thomas; his parents-in-law, Bernard and Dessie Browne; his children, Jonathan Thomas (Tatum), Benjamin Thomas (Ashley) and Joy Dunlavy (Derrick); his grandchildren, Dalten (Debora), Easton, Havah, Caleb, Caden, Luke, Brayden, Adelynn, Kiersten, Mae Mae, Elias and Bennett; his great grandchildren, Emma Grace and Birdee; his siblings, Carol Thompson (Keith), Chris Thomas, Teresa Butzer and Gloria McGee (Chris); and his sisters-in-law, Ginger Peddicord (Steve) and Judy Ruiz. He is also survived by many cousins, nieces, nephews.
