He was predeceased by: his parents, Johnny Drummer, Sr. and Leola Mae Drummer; and his wife Florence Austin. He is survived by: his children, Saundra Drummer of Pensacola, FL, Sylvia Young of Tallahassee, FL and Rodney Drummer (Misao) of Honolulu, HI; his siblings, Harold Drummer (Jacklyn) of Orlando, FL, Princella Hammond and Tonya Parker of Ocala, FL; and his grandchildren, Major Samuel Phillips (Kisha), Scott Phillips (Michelle) of Tallahassee, FL, Armondo Drummer (Yuri) of Honolulu, HI, Stephen Phillips (Chelsea) of Fort Wayne, IN, Samantha Phillips of Valdosta, GA, Nina Drummer of Budapest Hungary and Mario Drummer of Honolulu, HI. He is also survived by nieces, nephews and cousins.
Visitation was held on Thursday, January 16th 2025 from 9:30 AM to 10:00 AM at the Bevis Funeral Home (200 John Knox Rd, Tallahassee, FL 32303). A funeral service was held on Thursday, January 16th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
