He was predeceased by: his parents, Ralph W. Harrell and Eloise Mills Harrell; his grandmother Mattie Sasser Mills; his sister Anne Bowden; and his sons, John W. Harrell, Jr. and Charlie Harrell.
He is survived by: his wife Veronica Harrell; his daughters, Glenda Spears (Ricky), Wanda Kinsey and Patricia Humphrey (Zachary); his grandchildren, Chris Harrell, Richard Spears, Alicia Aiken, Ashley Temes, Austin Kinsey, Timothy Humphrey, Jericho Humphrey, Johnni Ann Humphrey and Jorah Humphrey; his sister Patricia Cox (Jake); and his nephews, Angelo Cox (Gina) and Michael Cox. He is also survived by his 7 great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Monday, October 7th 2024 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Abbey Funeral Home (4037 N Monroe St, Tallahassee, FL 32303). A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, October 8th 2024 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Tallahassee Memory Gardens (4037 N Monroe St, Tallahassee, FL 32303).
