She was predeceased by: her parents, Henry M. Carter and Ruby Jourdan Carter; and her siblings, Shelby Carter, Shirley Carter Sanders, Lewis Carter, Sr. and Jack Carter.
She is survived by: her husband Arthur Golden; and her children, Jack "Jody" Roland (Brenda), Paul Golden (Terri), Charles "Chuck" Golden (Elaine), Judy Alford (Jimmy) and Debbie Byrd (Alan). She is also survived by 11 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; and 2 great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, November 27th 2024 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Abbey Funeral Home (4037 N Monroe St, Tallahassee, FL 32303). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, November 27th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in honor of Jennie Golden to First Pentecostal Church of Crawfordville or Big Bend Hospice.
