He was predeceased by: his wife Carol Whatley Spinks. He is survived by: his sons, Wayne (Debra) of Tallahassee and Richard (Susan) of Chapel Hill, NC.; his grandsons, Matt (Rachelle) and Jeff (McClain); and his great grandchildren, James of Tallahassee and Mallory Kate of Tallahassee.
