He was predeceased by: his parents, George Thomas Brooks, Jr. and Lucille Richardson Brooks; and his brother Gerald Dennis Brooks. He is survived by: his wife Judy; his sons, Cal (Michele) and Jay; his grandchildren, Bailey, Jay Thomas, Grayson, Landon, Johnny and Parker; his siblings, Mary Esther Haywood and Tommy Brooks (Suzanne); and his pet Molly. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
