He was predeceased by: his parents, Dorothy B. Koons and Floyd C. Koons; his wife Barbara Koons; and his grandson-in-law Marc Rosborough. He is survived by: his daughter Delsie Koons Bell (Robert); and his grandchildren, Lisa Bell Sondesky (Chris), Robbie Bell (Joanna) and Kimberly Bell Rosborough. He is also survived by six great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, September 11th 2024 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Abbey Funeral Home (4037 N Monroe St, Tallahassee, FL 32303). A graveside service was held on Thursday, September 12th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Tallahassee Memory Gardens (4037 N Monroe St, Tallahassee, FL 32303).
