He was predeceased by: his wife Brenda; his brother Richard; and his parents, Orion and Dorris. He is survived by: his children, David (Kim), Chris (Lisa), Karen and Billy (Melinda); his grandchildren, Ryan, Gabriella, Christopher, Kyra and Cole; and his siblings, Sue and Ken (Debbie). He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
