We are sad to announce that on August 3, 2024, at the age of 94, Harbert Seaborn Smith (Tallahassee, Florida) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

As we bid adieu to Harbert Seaborn's earthly form, let us not dwell on the void left in his wake, but rather celebrate the legacy of love and inspiration Harbert Seaborn has bequeathed us. For though he may have departed from our sight, his spirit remains a timeless beacon, guiding loved ones through the labyrinth of life's journey.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Harbert Smith and Harriett Smith; and his daughter-in-law Carmen Langston. He is survived by: his wife Jeannette Smith; his son Gene Smith (Cecilia); his grandsons, Mac Langston, Frank Langston (Elizabeth) and Danny Langston (Tammy); and his siblings, Charles Smith and Jane Crutchfield. He is also survived by 15 grandchildren; and 27 great-grandchildren.
