He was predeceased by: his father George F. Burton, Sr.. He is survived by: his mother Oneita W. Burton; his wife Laloni "Lonnie"; his sons, Ken Burton, George F. Burton, III (Jennifer) and Navarre; his grandchildren, Joshua Burton, Zachary Burton and Tara Ellinor of Tallahassee; his siblings, Anthony "Andy" Burton (Debi), Candace "Candy" Kuehner (Carl) of Cocoa and Faith Neumann (Jim) of Cocoa; and his pet Missy. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial contributions be made to Covenant Care Hospice of Tallahassee through their website choosecovenant.org, or their address 1921 Capital Cir NE, Tallahassee, FL.
