It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Gary Allen Scheff of Tallahassee, Florida, who passed away on January 24, 2025, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, John A. Scheff and Betty J. Scheff (Miller); his siblings, Carol Burns, Ronald Scheff and Jerry Scheff; and his grandson Noah Smith.
He is survived by: his wife Jan Scheff of Tallahassee; his children, Jim Scheff (Cindy) of McComb, Cyndi Hayes (Michael) of Florence and Kerrie Stillman (Gene) of Tallahassee, Florida; his grandchildren, Aaron Scheff (Ann), Shelby Musgrove (Cody), Lauren Stillman, Eric Stillman, Ryan Stillman and Tyler Hayes; his great grandchildren, Carter Scheff, Rylee Scheff, Cody Musgrove, Jr., Colton Selman, Landon Henry, Madeline Musgrove, Chloe Kaskie and Harlie Kaskie; his siblings, Larry Scheff (Rosemary) of Nevada and Vicki McCombs of Mt. Blanchard; and his siblings-in-law, Judy Scheff of Marion, Susan Buell of Tallahassee, Karen Hansen (Neil), Gary Spires of Birmingham and Kevin Ryland (Patty) of Omaha, Nebraska. He is also survived by his many nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, January 29th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Bevis Funeral Home (200 John Knox Rd, Tallahassee, FL 32303). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, January 29th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location. A committal service was held on Wednesday, January 29th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Tallahassee National Cemetery (5015 Apalachee Pkwy, Tallahassee, FL 32311).
