He is survived by: his children, Emile Deering Barnes, III (Michele) and Michael William Barnes (Robin Fogt); his stepchildren, Bridget Burke-Wammack (Ken) and Patrick Burke; his grandchildren, Emile C. Barnes, Ashley Barnes and Brittany Muse; his great grandchild Bently Muse; his niece Julie Gibson; and his nephew Gibby Gibson.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude's Children Hospital.
