He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Ethel Lorane Campbell Thompson; his daughters, Renise Thompson and Earthale Vickers (Greg); his granddaughter Alexandre Thompson; his siblings, Charles Thompson (Bobbie) and Ethel Russ; his sisters-in-law, Margarete Hall (Wilson), Marilyn Williams (Ivey) and Norma Campbell; and his son Lamar White. He was also cherished by other relatives and friends.
