With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Doris Anne Marley Laird of Tallahassee, Florida, who passed away on January 25, 2025 at the age of 94. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As Doris Anne Marley departs from our midst, her spirit ascends to join the cosmic dance of stars, a shimmering constellation of memories that will forever grace the night sky of the hearts of those who loved Doris Anne Marley. Though Doris Anne Marley may no longer walk beside us, her legacy lives on — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of time and space.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Eugene Marley and Colleen Marley of Columbia, SC. She is survived by: her husband Bill; her sons, Will of Tallahassee, Andrew of Atlanta and Glen of Boston; and her grandchildren, Samantha, Daniel and Leah.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, February 1st 2025 at 3:00 PM at the Roselawn Cemetery (845 Piedmont Dr, Tallahassee, FL 32312).
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to Big Bend Hospice.
