It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Delores Gordon Copps (Tallahassee, Florida), who passed away on September 3, 2024, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Sam Henry Gordon, Sr. and Faye Anna Burns; and her sisters-in-law, Frances C. Jones and Margaret Copps. She is survived by: her husband Alton Brooks Copps, Jr.; her daughters, Laurie Copps, Holley Priger (Kevin) and Heather Verrier; her grandchildren, Kaelin Priger, Emma Priger, Sam Verrier and Charlie Verrier; her siblings, John Wilkes, Sam Henry Gordon, Jr., Alana Nemeth, Pamela Rand and Patricia MacDonald; and her sisters-in-law, Ann Bonfigli and Cathy Hillis.

A memorial service was held on Saturday, September 7th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the Bevis Funeral Home (200 John Knox Rd, Tallahassee, FL 32303). A reception was held on Saturday, September 7th 2024 at 3:00 PM at the same location.

In lieu of flowers, donations to Charis Bible College building program are welcome.
