He was predeceased by: his parents, John J. Caldwell and Jean Macdonald Caldwell; and also John J. "Jock" Caldwell, Jr.. He is survived by: his wife Barbara Sarro Caldwell; his children, Kelly Ann Wilcox (Barry) of Tallahassee, Dr. Kimberly Zgonc (Chad) of Melbourne and David Caldwell of Tallahassee; and his grandchildren, Zachary, Mason, Carter, Maggie, Chloe, Harper and Henry. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
