He was predeceased by: his parents, James Edward Hobby and Louvinnie Hobby (Montgomery); and his brother Larry Hobby. He is survived by: his children, Collis Edward Hobby, Jr. (Lisa) of Clarksville, Stephen Hobby of Clarksville, Christopher Hobby of Panama City, Terri Glass (Tim) of Blountstown, Amber Summers (Trystan) of Bristol and Autumn Hobby of Clarksville; his stepchildren, Heather Whittington and Michael Stone of Clarksville; and his siblings, Billy of Bristol, Dale of Bristol, Edwin Hobby of Bristol, Mary Sue Lee of Blountstown, Dianne Vanderhoff of Tallahassee and Patricia Hobby of Bristol. He is also survived by sixteen grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren.
