With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Charles Robert Yates Sr. (Tallahassee, Florida), who passed away on February 3, 2020 at the age of 94. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Lucile Yates and L. A. Yates; and his sister Patricia Yates Belcher. He is survived by: his brothers, Edwin Steve Yates and Albert Yates; his wife Linda Herold Yates; and his children, Lynn Colvard (David) and Charles Robert Yates, Jr. (Jane). He is also survived by four grandchildren; one great grandson; and numerous nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts may be sent to the Trinity United Methodist Church Bicentennial Anniversary Fund, PO Box 1086, Tallahassee 32301.
