She was predeceased by: her parents, William Melvin and Bessie Sapp Thomas. She is survived by: her husband Richard McAvoy; and her children, Kendal, Michael, Barrie and Neely. She is also survived by 6 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren.
A graveside service will be held on Thursday, February 27th 2025 at 1:30 PM at the Roselawn Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Big Bend Hospice in her honor.
