She was predeceased by: her mother Bernice B. Powe (Tallahassee). She is survived by: her daughter Cynthia Wynell Jones-Douglas; her son-in-law Frank Douglas; her grandsons, Caleb J. Douglas and Joshua M. Douglas; her sisters, Mildred B. Allen and Necie Hughes of Tallahassee; her sister-in-law Minnie Brimm; and her goddaughters, Lynda Brimm Forbes, Jade Smith and Antonique Williams. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews, cousins, other extended family.
Viewing was held on Friday, September 13th 2024 from 12:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Strong & Jones Funeral Home (629 W Brevard St, Tallahassee, FL 32304). A celebration of life was held on Saturday, September 14th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Truth Gatherers Dream Center Church (1317 High Rd, Tallahassee, FL 32304).
