She was predeceased by: her parents, Presey E. Draughon and Annie Bell Draughon; her husband Leonard Jervis Whatley; and her siblings, Obie Draughon of Bernice Draughon, P. W, William Draughon and Dorothy Milton.
She is survived by: her children, Jan Whatley (Pierre Moreau), Carol Houck (Tom) and Jeff Whatley; and her granddaughter Jo Houck. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
A funeral service was held on Wednesday, February 12th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Bevis Funeral Home (200 John Knox Rd, Tallahassee, FL 32303).
