Alva Bienville Chastain Jr. Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Alva Bienville Chastain Jr. of Tallahassee, Florida, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on February 9, 2025 at the age of 82. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Alva Bienville Chastain Sr. and Grace Ellen Chastain (Bondurant); and his brother Gaines Chapman "Bubba" Chastain (Mary Chastain). He is survived by: his children, Melissa Prescott (Chris), Benny Chastain (Christa) and Patrick Chastain; his grandchildren, Jesse Prescott, Jordan Chastain, Jada Pierce, Madison Williams, Chase Prescott, Bentley Chastain and Dawson Chastain; and his great grandchild Jasper Grey.
Viewing will be held on Saturday, February 15th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Bethel Cemetery (Sugarbaker Ln, Alabama 36540). A graveside service will be held on Saturday, February 15th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
