Alma Rose (Polsinelli) Cunningham Obituary
Alma Rose (Polsinelli) Yutzey Cunningham, 75, entered in eternal peace on July 12, 2024 at Tallahassee, Florida, surrounded by her loving family. She had previously resided in McMechen and Moundsville, West Virginia, and in Crestview, Florida.
Born April 27, 1949 in Glen Dale, West Virginia, Alma was the daughter of the late Joseph S. and Ina (Strober) Polsinelli of McMechen. She graduated in 1967 from Union High School in Benwood, West Virginia. Following her graduation, she taught dancing lessons at her studio in McMechen.
Alma married Glen A. Yutzey in 1970 and they lived in Moundsville. In 1994, she married Lt. Colonel Samuel J. Cunningham (1946-2006) and they made their home in Crestview, Florida.
Alma was employed as a seamstress, then trained to be a nursing assistant. She worked for a cardiologist until her retirement.
Surviving are Alma’s two sons, Alex (Venusja) Yutzey of Houston, Texas, and Preston (Lauren) Yutzey of Tallahassee; her cherished grandchildren, Alex Jordan II. and Scarlett Piper Yutzey, and Aurora and Asher Yutzey; one brother, Joseph Angelo (Georgiann) Polsinelli; two sisters, Elizabeth (Gary) Wolfe and Lisa (Tony) Velas; many nieces and nephews and her beloved dog, Stella J. Trump.
No services will be held.
