He was predeceased by: his siblings, Roy Koon, Carl J. Koon, Russell Koon and Doris Nielsen. He is survived by: his wife Joy Williams Koon; his daughter Elaine Koon Newcomb (Bill); his grandchildren, Brad Newcomb (Julie) and Stephanie Smith; his great grandchild Brett Newcomb of Lake City; and his great great grandchild Stetson Newcomb of Branford. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
