She was predeceased by: her husband Manchan Samlal; her parents, Leila Ghurpersad and Ramesar Badaal; and her siblings, Basedo Ghurpersad, Deonarine Ghurpersad, Sumaria Lalmansingh and Leela Ramharrack.
She is survived by: her children, Ramdoolarie Teeluckdharry (Deonarine), Rajoo Samlal, Kumarie Mangos, Jarmoone Maharaj and Mungree Singh; her sisters-in-law, Jacqueline Ghurpersad, Shirley Ghurpersad, Norma Robinson, Chandra Samlal, Meena Samlal, Polly Samlal and Doolin (Frank); her cousins, Pearl Nandoo and Anand Abhaisingh; her nieces and nephews, Plum, Ramesh, Geeta, Champa, Suresh, Ricky, Shoba, Nalini, Angela, Steve, Maxine, Michael, Annmarie, Joanna, Diane, Andy, Andrea, Kamini, Moonie, Indira, Bala, Bedo, Babe, Debbie, Dexter, Darryl, Peter, Sunil, Joan, Jemma, Victoria, Taree, Sandy and Dinesh; and her friends, Rena Ramroop, Jean Ramsarran and Dee Ramlal. She is also survived by many grand nieces and nephews and great-grand nieces and nephews.
