He was predeceased by: his parents, John Steiger and Geraldine Steiger (Mc Cue); and his siblings, Michael, Ben, John, Jean, Kathleen and Marie.
He is survived by: his wife Margaret Steiger; his daughters, Shannon Steiger and Carrie Steiger; his grandchildren, Joseph Steiger and Addison Robertson; his sister Geraldine Sexton; and his niece Christine.
