He was predeceased by: his wife Norma Tobis; his son Alan; his parents, Anna and Peter; and his parents-in-law, Grace and David Tobis.
He is survived by: his daughter Lori; his granddaughters, Alexa Salem (Namaan) and Hayley Christiansen (Malcolm Joseph IV); his great grandchildren, Christian and Ethan Salem; and his daughter-in-law Nicole Saltzman. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
