He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter Smith and Meda Roberta Phillips. He is survived by: his wife Aida Luz Miranda; and his sons, Kevin Smith of Rome, GA, Arnold Miranda (Juana) of Pomona, NY and Richard Miranda (Christina) of Riverview, FL.. He is also survived by several grandchildren and great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Wounded Warrior Project or Disabled American Veterans.
