He is survived by: his wife Elaine; his sons, Marty and Frank Birkinshaw; his stepsons, Todd and Michael Williamson; his daughters, Dionne Birkinshaw, Darlene Birkinshaw-Black, Tara and Suzette Birkinshaw; and his stepdaughter Nanette Dolby. He is also survived by numerous grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
