She was predeceased by: her father Irvin Lee Anderson; her grandmother Catherine Edwards; and her friends, Janet, Bub, Fred and Roxanne.

She is survived by: her mother Delores Jean Harris (Edwards); her husband Theodore R. DeBerry; her children, Lareka Anderson-Ojuko and Melody Ferguson (David); her siblings, Richard Anderson (Alexis), Steven Anderson (Denise) and Teresa Allen; and her grandchildren, Julius Anderson, Iyeshia Anderson, Kayla Scott, Alayjah Brice and Myria Brice. She is also survived by three great grandchildren along with step children.
