He was predeceased by: his wife Marie Theresa Plaskon; his sister Edna Lasko; and his grandson Zachary Wall. He is survived by: his sisters, Barbara Kately and Maryanne Romano; his children, Robert Plaskon (Kathy), Donald Plaskon (Diane), Thomas Plaskon (Sheila), Jeffrey Plaskon (Jennifer) and Nancy Wall (John); and his siblings-in-law, Richard Newsome (Rosalie) and Joan Newsome (Jimmy).

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Sun City Center Emergency Squad, 720 Ray Watson Drive, Sun City Center, Florida 33573.
