With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Phyllis Ruth Simpson (Sun City Center, Florida), born in Toledo, Ohio, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. She was predeceased by: her parents, Harry Mercer and Oral Mercer; and her sisters, Elizabeth Jean Daering, Lois Parker and Judy Nicola.
She is survived by: her husband Ted Simpson; her sons, Gregory Joehlin (Teresa), Mark Joehlin (Lindsey) and Christopher Joehlin; and her brother Richard Mercer (Lynn). She is also survived by five grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
