He is survived by: his wife Lucy Etta Walker; his children, Marilyn Sylla (Sekou), Doris Collins (Samuel), Dr. Ray Whitt, Alfreda Curtis, Eric Whitt and Kathryn Rodriquez; his granddaughter Veronica Lamberth (Oscar Garcia); his children, Julian Curtis, Andrew Curtis (Sharee), Raymond Curtis, Tabitha Rodriguez, Roman Rodriguez (Nadia Parmhans), Lucy Kibler (Anthony), Devon Whitt, Jalen Whitt, Celyn Whitt Giefer (Nate Giefer), Mia Rodriguez and Jericho Sylla; and his siblings, Roy Whitt (Anne) and Unzie Mae Whitt. He is also survived by 13 great grandchildren.
