He was predeceased by: his parents, Armand Garand and Lauretta Garand; his son Kenneth Peter Garand; and his brother Normand Charles Garand. He is survived by: his wife Brenda Bertoni; and his children, Donald Garand (Mary) and Diane DeHart (Steve). He is also survived by 6 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren, extended family members including Brenda's children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren.
