She was predeceased by: her parents, Paul Augustus and Blanche Elizabeth Harrup Outten; her sister Elsie Gayle Outten; and her husband Jack Dougherty. She is survived by: her children, Carl Williams (Donna), Erlene Sheldon (Bob) of Snead's Ferry, NC, Clifford Bruce Williams and Linda Ray (Thomas) of Plainview, TX. She is also survived by twelve grandchildren and twenty-six great grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to the American Heart Association and the American Cancer Society.
