He was predeceased by: his father James Johnston; and his brother Gerry. He is survived by: his mother Esther Johnston; his wife Debbie; his children, Rebekah (Brad) and James (Colette); and his brother Craig. He is also survived by four grandchildren and seven great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that you donate to veterans' support groups, including the Honor Flight guardians fund created and managed by the Bob's Vets organization.
