Glenn McGinnis Jr. wrote a sympathy message

“Stacey, I just read in the Thin Blue Line, the Coast Guard retirement magazine. I am so sorry for your loss. Wes was a good friend back in the day when we were stationed at Elizabeth City Air station back in the early 1980s. He will be greatly missed! He was also just coming in to Clearwater Air Station when I was being transferred. It was good to see him and last time I saw him. I have often wondered what had happened to him.”
