We bid farewell to William Morgan of Stuart, Florida, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on January 5, 2025 at the age of 86. William touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. He was predeceased by: his parents, David Morgan and Helen Morgan (Moran); his brothers, David and Thomas "Moe" Morgan; and his brothers-in-law, Joseph Piccolo and Eugene Benn.
He is survived by: his wife Elaine Melone; his children, Marisa Franklin of Rome and William A. Morgan (Kim Rieppel) of Rome; his grandson Andrew Franklin; his siblings, Helen Sutton (James), Janet Piccola, Donna Benn, Patsy Morgan and Daniel Morgan; and his siblings-in-law, Sally Morgan, Robert Melone (Linda) and Gary Melone. He is also survived by his close friends and partners.
Visitation was held on Friday, January 17th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Barry Funeral Home (807 W Chestnut St, Rome, NY 13440-2363). A funeral service was held on Friday, January 17th 2025 at 6:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Rome Elks Lodge #96 Scholarship Fund, Abraham House, or Treasure Coast Hospice.
